V. Ramakrishnan
Director – Strategy

With decades of experience as an entrepreneur and CEO of several distinguished organizations, V. Ramakrishnan is a seasoned expert in Strategic Positioning, Mergers, and Acquisitions. He holds an M. Tech in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from IIT Kharagpur and a BE in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from AC College of Engineering & Technology, Tamil Nadu.

In addition to his corporate achievements, V. Ramakrishnan serves as a visiting professor at Osmania University, where he imparts his knowledge in the MBA Technology Management program. He is also a board member for various domestic and international organizations, leveraging his extensive experience to drive strategic growth and innovation.

M. Ravindra
Non – Executive Chairman

Ravindra, retired Chairman of the Indian Railway Board, brings a wealth of experience to his role as Non-Executive Chairman of BARSYL. Following his retirement, he served as a Member of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

With a distinguished 36-year career in the Indian Railways Service of Engineers, Mr. Ravindra joined BARSYL’s Board as an Independent Director in 2012. He is currently a Member of the National Transport Development Planning Committee, continuing to contribute his expertise to the advancement of transportation infrastructure.

Manoranjan Pershad
Director – Corporate Affairs

Manoranjan Pershad, a Mechanical Engineer from Karnataka University, began his career with HMT Ltd. as a Management Trainee, eventually advancing to the role of General Manager over a distinguished 36-year career.

He has enhanced his managerial acumen through Leadership Skill Development and Senior Management Programs at IIM Ahmedabad in 2007. Since joining BARSYL in March 2009 as Head of Operations, Mr. Pershad has made significant contributions to the organization, serving as Chief Operating Officer from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, he was honored with a nomination to the Board of IMRT as Director.

Director

V. B. Gadgil, former CEO and MD of L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd, is an accomplished engineering graduate with over four decades of experience in the Transportation, Trucking, and Railroad industries. His career is marked by a proven track record in Negotiation, Business Planning, Operations Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Team Building.

With a long-standing association with India’s premier infrastructure company, L&T, Mr. Gadgil has led numerous projects both domestically and internationally, including serving as the business head of their Gulf Project Operating Company. He has also contributed his expertise to the Advisory Boards of various infrastructure companies, further enhancing his influence in the field.
